US Manufacturers were using several different thickness setting tapes in this era. We are not certain which was used on your 1983 Dodge. It will be either 1/32, 1/16, 3/32 or 3/64 thick. You will need to measure the original material. If there is no original material left, you can measure the inside of the channel, subtract the glass thickness and divide that value by 2.
