A door glass run channel is a rubber or felt-lined track located inside a car door frame. On some older vehicles the channel can also be rigid or even a segmented flexible metal with a flocked lining. It guides and supports the window glass as it moves up and down, while also sealing the window to prevent water, dust, and noise from entering the vehicle.
