The correct thickness setting tape will vary vehicle to vehicle, application to application. To determine the correct thickness, measure the inside width of the channel, subtract the thickness of the glass, then divide this value by 2.
FORMULA = (inside width of channel - glass thickness) / 2
FORMULA = (inside width of channel - glass thickness) / 2
