Window sweeps are strips, often made of rubber, felt, metal or plastic, that are attached to the bottom or sides of windows. They help seal gaps to prevent drafts, water, dust, and noise from entering through the window edges. Window sweeps are commonly used on both the inside and outside of the door and quarter glass for improved insulation, water resistance, noise reduction and comfort.
