The outer beltline weatherstips in this kit have no stainless/chrome. There is a molding at the top of your door which you remove. Once the molding is off of the car, you remove the old beltline weatherstrips and attach the new. Then you put the molding with the new beltline weatherstrips back on the car. This is exactly how GM did it from the factory and our kit is identical to the original GM parts. If you take the molding off of your car this will all make sense.
