This general use hood insulation pad is an un-cut pad that can be used on just about any vehicle. This pad requires you to cut it to fit your vehicle. This type of material was used by Ford, GM etc in this era so this would be a good period correct choice if you want to cut your own insulation pad as I don't think anyone makes a direct fit pad for your 53 Buick.
